Our family favorite Sour Cream Cookies with a two tone icing twist.
- Let cookies cool after baking.
- Mix up some butter cream frosting.
- Put a portion of the frosting in a small bowl adding a drop or two of food coloring, if you like the two tone affect don’t mix the color completely in.
- Put the colored icing in to a pastry bag with a round tip.
- With the remaining icing frost the cookies.
- Using the pastry bag draw 4 color lines across the cookie.
- Run a knife vertically across the lines in a pattern. First up then down then up and down 4 times total.
