Playing with Color
Ilm Tree had a special program at the school called “Welcoming Ramadan” and one of the things the children did was to create Tissue Mosaics. This is another one of those projects that I do yearly because I love the vibrancy of the tissue and the mosaics whether they are on stars, moons or mosques they look good and can be hung on their own or linked together with ribbon or brass fasteners.
I often laminate the projects because it makes them more durable and
also gives it a nice sheen. This project when it was finished tuned
into linked mosques over 40 mosques long.
