Turkish Butter Balls

Turkish Butterballs are one of our family and guest favorites. They are melt in your mouth delicious.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla together.
  2. Stir flour and salt together; blend in to the butter mixture.
  3. Chill dough.
  4. Heat oven to 400
  5. Roll dough in to 1″ balls.
  6. Place on un-greased baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10-12 minutes, or until set but not brown remove from the oven.
  8. While the cookies are still warm roll in powdered sugar.
