Decorative Candles
A candle’s glow can help create a mood of calm and peace within the home.
These decorative votives are super simple to create by either you or your child. The candles pictured were made with greeting card cut outs of simple shapes.
The clear votives were purchased at the grocery store in the ethnic food section. Find or make simple shapes and glue them in place. Then wrap vellum or tissue paper around the holder and glue in place. You can use your candle for a special story time or maybe to have dinner by. They also make nice handmade gifts that children can make themselves.
