Habeeba’s Samosa

Samosa (Arabic Samosa)


  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef or lamb
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 1/2 bunch of chopped parsley and coriander
  • 2 grated carrots
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • package of samosa wrappers or egg roll wrappers
  • oil for frying


  1. Heat olive oil in frying pan add onions and saute over medium high heat until transparent
  2. Add meat and carrots and cook until meat browns, stir continuously
  3. Add remaining ingredients and cook until there are no more juices
  4. Check seasoning adding salt if necessary
  5. Wrap according to wrapper instructions and fry in hot oil for about 2 min on each side until golden in color
