Samosa (Arabic Samosa)
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef or lamb
- 2 onions chopped
- 1/2 bunch of chopped parsley and coriander
- 2 grated carrots
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- package of samosa wrappers or egg roll wrappers
- oil for frying
Directions
- Heat olive oil in frying pan add onions and saute over medium high heat until transparent
- Add meat and carrots and cook until meat browns, stir continuously
- Add remaining ingredients and cook until there are no more juices
- Check seasoning adding salt if necessary
- Wrap according to wrapper instructions and fry in hot oil for about 2 min on each side until golden in color
